Who we are
A non-profit built on purpose
Founded in 2013 by Lillian Mendoza, MBA, DARE to LOVE Sports Club is a non-profit organization based in Mississauga, Ontario, dedicated to promoting biblical principles, family values, and a relationship with God through sports.
The work began in 1999 as Corporate Sports Inc., promoting team spirit, wellness, and fun. Today the club welcomes youth and adults across the Greater Toronto Area through pickleball, basketball, summer camp, and athlete development.

To instill virtues and values in youth and adults through engaging sports programs, fostering personal growth, community involvement, and a deeper relationship with God.
Our story
A club that keeps moving forward
- 1999
Founded as Corporate Sports Inc., promoting team spirit and wellness through sports.
- 2001–04
The DARE values (Discipline, Attitude, Respect, Effort) take shape through community basketball camps.
- 2011
The program relaunches as The DARE Sports Academy.
- 2013
DARE to LOVE Sports Club becomes an independent non-profit in Mississauga.
- 2015
The club adopts the Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program.
- 2024–25
Pickleball joins the club, followed by Canada’s first New Year’s Eve glow-in-the-dark pickleball tournament.

A lifelong belief in team spirit and wellness
Lillian founded the independent organization in 2013 after beginning this work with Corporate Sports Inc. in 1999.
